CRC & JDM......

M/T Performance is two companies merged into one. Mark Brown of JDM and Teresa Gordy of CRC had known each other through the motorcycle industry for some time. After tragic events in both of their lives, they decided to come together and make both of their companies bigger and better.........

CROTCH ROCKET CUSTOMS "CRC"...

Teresa and her Husband Mike Gordy started Crotch Rocket Customs several years ago.  Both had been envolved with motorcycles and dirt bikes all of there lives.  Throughout Mikes careers, he was GM for 2 local chrome plating companies and he also was a certified tech for Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki and Polaris and spent several years with America's Motor Sports, formally Moores Suzuki.  Mike and Teresa were both passionate about motorcycles and enjoyed working side by side in the customizing work, attending bike shows or just heading off somewhere for a few days of riding.

When Mike passed away, Teresa had to decide whether to end CRC or keep the business going. She comments; "The business was a HUGE part of the both of us. Mike always said I was the backbone of CRC, yet it took the two of us to make it work and I felt that if I let the business go, then I would be letting go of both of our dreams".  Mike was wonderfully talented with motorcycles, he loved me to the end of the earth and back, he was a wonderful father and one of the most honest, hard-working individuals I had ever known. He always gave 110% to everything he did.   He is tremendously missed". 

JDM FABRICATION......

From his early childhood on, Mark Brown was fascinated with Motorcycles. Before he was old enough to legally ride, he was sneaking off and cruising or should we say "racing" through the streets of Chicago's suburbs.  As a teen, he would rather spend his time taking a bike apart and figuring out how to put it back together, rather than playing sports or doing much of anything else. 

At the age of 16 years old, Mark went to work for Arrow Plastic's and became a Tool & Die maker. There he spent 17 years perfecting his welding, machining and fabrication skills which would carry over into his motorcycle business today.  As a side job from Arrow, Mark would build race motors for others and spend most of his weekends racings. Through this, he met some lifelong friends, such as Kent Stotz, Ray Bellucci and Phil Stoll not to mention many other wonderful people in the racing industry.

JDM Fabrication and JDM Performance Products is one of the same companies that he founded in Streamwood, IL.  After many years of successfully racing and being a prominant figure in motorcycle  industry, Mark tragically lost his son.  That was a turning point in Mark's life.  He too had to decide to move forward.
